Uccle Immi – Institut Montjoie – Marie Immaculée

The project involves the construction of a new school complex for the Institut Montjoie – Marie ImmaculĂ©e in Uccle, designed to bring together the primary and secondary sections within a contemporary and high-performance infrastructure.

Designed with a timber structure, the building is part of a sustainable approach, favouring materials with a low environmental impact and an efficient construction method. The architecture aims to provide flexible, bright, pedagogical spaces adapted to new teaching practices, while ensuring a high level of comfort for users.

Developed over a built area of 5,475 m², the project also incorporates the layout of 2,885 m² of outdoor spaces, conceived as true extensions of the learning and school life environments.

The positioning of the building was carefully studied in order to optimise circulation flows, the legibility of the site and its integration into the surrounding urban fabric. The project meets current requirements in terms of energy performance, safety and functionality.

Carried by the ASBL Instituts Montjoie & Marie Immaculée, and designed by atelier 229, this construction site, currently under way, represents an investment of €10.7 million excl. VAT.
