The Arbre Vert School
The first phase involves the construction of a new wing while keeping the old building in operation, with partial demolition of the latter only taking place once the move to the new premises has been completed.
The site, served by a driveway and a peripheral road that facilitate access to the various rooms, proves to be vast and green despite its location in the city. Across 1,900 m² gross floor area, the programme deploys ten new classrooms, a physiotherapy room, two snoezelen rooms, a care room, a kitchen with refectory, as well as large circulation spaces.
The particular shape of the new wing is partly explained by the presence of the old building, from which it is sometimes located less than two metres away. The result is a school scattered across the available space, which reveals itself progressively rather than imposing itself as a single monolithic building. This pavilion-like character allows each child to identify with the part of the building they use most often.

Mons Arbre Vert School X Menuiserie Dherte
As part of the Arbre Vert School project in Mons, Menuiserie Dherte carried out the production of custom-made furniture, as well as interior doors and interior wooden frames. It also handled the manufacturing of hydrant covers, carefully integrated into all of the building's interior fittings.
