Renovation of the Rixensart Municipal Swimming Pool
Complete renovation of the Rixensart municipal swimming pool, a sports facility inaugurated in 1981 and used by more than 120,000 visitors per year. This large-scale project, carried out in collaboration with the specialised engineering firm CoRePro (Charleroi) on behalf of the Municipality of Rixensart, represents one of the most significant rehabilitations of public sports facilities in Walloon Brabant.
This project aims to thoroughly transform the entire sports infrastructure. The objective: to offer the residents of Rixensart and its surroundings a modern, comfortable facility accessible to all.
The works include:
- Complete refurbishment of the pools and surrounding decks
- Renovation of the changing rooms and sanitary facilities
- Replacement of the central heating system
- Thermal insulation of the building envelope (roofs and window frames)
- Compliance with accessibility standards for people with reduced mobility
- Refreshment of the reception area and common spaces
- Replacement of interior floor and wall coverings
