The construction of the Abbaye de Ghislenghien Residence is part of a comprehensive urban renewal program that includes the creation of "La cour Jean Zuallart," a new public space within the block. This courtyard features a park that will be enjoyed by both buildings of the Residence: this green space is open and reserved for pedestrian traffic, ensuring the tranquility of the area. The Abbaye de Ghislenghien Residence, proposed by the Dherte company, consists of two buildings: one building at the front overlooking Rue Haute. It comprises five apartments and one commercial unit (ground floor). And one building at the rear, located entirely in the heart of the block, facing the park. It comprises eight apartments and a 21-space underground car park (entrance via a porch on Rue Haute). The architecture of the two buildings, both sober and contemporary, blends harmoniously with the Refuge de l'Abbaye de Ghislenghien, a listed 16th-century building.
