At Dherte, we are convinced that computer equipment can have multiple lives.
That is why we have chosen to give new value to part of our IT infrastructure by offering computers to the children of the La Source boarding school in Péruwelz.
This initiative is part of a two-fold approach: Ecological, by extending the lifespan of equipment that is still perfectly functional and by limiting electronic waste. Solidarity-based, by helping to reduce the digital divide that still affects many households and certain schools. Today, access to computing has become a true lever for learning, autonomy and inclusion.
Seeing the smiles of the children receiving this equipment reminds us that every refurbished device can become a tool for the future, for learning and for success.
