Namur Expo is reinventing itself! The construction works have officially been launched!
On Thursday morning, DHERTE and WUST had the honour of being present at the official launch ceremony for the energy and functional renovation works of Namur Expo, organised by the Bureau Économique de la Province de Namur. A strong moment, marked by the installation of the first timber structure, in the presence of:

- Vincent Maillen, representing Minister-President Adrien Dolimont
- Cécile Neven, Walloon Minister of Energy
- Charlotte Bazelaire, Mayor of Namur
- Renaud Degueldre, General Director of the BEP
- Daciana Crastu, Representative of the European Commission
Carried out as a joint venture (société momentanée) Dherte-WUST, this ambitious project aims to thoroughly transform exhibition halls 1 and 2 to adapt them to current requirements in terms of energy performance, sustainability and functionality for its users.
Supported by ERDF 2021-2027 funds, this project demonstrates that energy performance and event-related use can go hand in hand. A true model of sustainable transformation at the heart of the Walloon capital.
